Adrien Broner was as colorful as ever as he stepped through the ropes of a ring set up near the MGM Grand sports book Wednesday.
The three-time world champion danced around while wearing a black T-shirt with “About Billions” on it, fluorescent neon green sneakers and matching warm-up pants with a black stripe going down each leg.
Imagining Saturday’s 140-pound opponent John Molina Jr. before him, Broner fired a left uppercut—his glistening gold watch matching his pinkie ring—and a right cross that caused his gold bracelet to dance.
"I'm just chilling, man. It's fight time. We're two days to the weigh-in and three days to the fight, and I'm ready,” said Broner, whose bout in the debut of the Premier Boxing Champions on NBC represents his fourth time fighting at the MGM.
“Honestly, it really don't matter where you fight. As long as they show it on NBC, they could have this fight in a closet. As long as I handle my business, I'll be cool. But it's a great atmosphere. We're bringing boxing back on NBC as a worldwide sport, and the world is coming back to boxing. It's a great feeling."
