The “Miracle Man” basked in the glory after he retained his 160-pound world title with a second-round technical knockout of Sergio Mora earlier that evening.

“This is special. I mean, it’s like no other place or venue in the world for me. There is always drama here when I fight, just like tonight,” said Jacobs, who improved to 4-0 at his hometown arena.

“I have a connection in this building that I can’t say about any other in the world. These are my Brooklynites, my neighbors, my family and friends. What better place to perform and give them a great victory."

Daniel Jacobs (30-1, 27 KOs) won when his second-round knockdown resulted in a fractured right ankle for Sergio Mora (28-4-2, 9 KOs).

The 28-year-old cancer survivor immediately dismissed any talk of a rematch with Mora, and instead looked toward an all-Brooklyn clash with former 160-pound champ Peter Quillin.

“I’ve told everyone that I want Peter Quillin,” Jacobs said. “It’s a good matchup. It’s a fight that the fans have wanted to see for a while, so we’ll see.”

Jacobs and Quillin both fought in separate bouts on the first boxing card at Barclays Center on October 20, 2012. Jacobs scored a 73-second stoppage of Josh Luteran that night, while Quillin knocked down Hassan N’Dam six times en route to a world title-winning unanimous decision.

“Danny’s been calling me out. That’s no surprise,” Quillin said. “It’s about having a certain light on me and Danny wants that light. I have a little spunk and a little shine about me.”

The duo also fought on the same card at Barclays in April 2013, with Jacobs stopping Keenan Collins in the fourth round, and Quillin gaining a seventh-round TKO of Fernando Guerrero.

“There is a lot of notoriety about Danny fighting me,” Quillin said. “It would definitely be a good fight.”
