There’ll be no shortage of action when brawlers Shawn “Showtime” Porter and Roberto “La Amenaza” Garcia go toe-to-toe March 13 as the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) series hits Spike TV.
The 147-pound title contenders will face off at 9 p.m. ET/PT as the co-main event in the first PBC card to air on Spike.
Andre Berto (29-3) will battle Josesito Lopez (33-6) in the night’s other bout.

Porter (24-1-1, 15 KOs) was recently dismissed as a 147-pound world champion in an athletic, back-and-forth exchange with British fighter Kell Brook, who was awarded a 12-round majority decision in Carson, California, on August 16.
The 27-year-old Akron, Ohio, native won the 147-pound championship in a 12-round unanimous decision over Devon Alexander in Brooklyn, New York, in December 2013.
Porter, a knockout threat with either hand, stopped former champ Paulie Malignaggi in the fourth round in Washington, D.C., last April to retain his title.
Garcia (36-3, 23 KOs) has risen from marginal prospect to serious contender by taking on all comers, and his skills have improved with experience.
The 34-year-old Houston resident has competed against notables such as former world champion Antonio Margarito, who won a hard-fought 10-round decision over Garcia in 2010.
