          Highlights
- –Lydell Rhodes connected on cleaner shots over his jab during the first three rounds, but Edner Cherry flashed his power in Round 2 with a solid left hook to the head. 
- –Rhodes continually attempted to frustrate Cherry throughout the middle rounds with his jab-and-grab tactics while the fighters were repeatedly pulled apart by referee Gary Rosato.
