The Windy City is getting its first taste of Premier Boxing Champions action on April 24 when Anthony Dirrell squares up with Badou Jack on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET.
Dirrell and Jack will share headlining duties with Daniel Jacobs, who takes on Caleb Truax at the UIC Pavilion. Tickets are $31-$151.
Dirrell (27-0-1, 22 KOs), 30, is coming off back-to-back fights with Sakio Bika at 168 pounds. The first bout, in Brooklyn, New York, on December 7, 2013, resulted in a draw. Dirrell won the rematch in Carson, California, in August by unanimous decision to become a world champion at 168 pounds.
The 31-year-old Jack (18-1-1, 12 KOs) stopped Francisco Sierro in the sixth round in December in his last fight.
Jacobs (28-1, 25 KOs), 28, brings his devastating power to a 160-pound test following a win over Jarrod Fletcher in August, when he put Fletcher on the mat twice en route to winning by a fifth-round stoppage.
Truax (25-1-2, 15 KOs), 31, fought his last two fights at the UIC Pavilion, most recently with an eighth-round knockout of Scott Sigmon in November.
